About Me

Welcome to my website!  I am a multi skilled audio professional looking for entry level work in Live Sound and Post Production.  I graduated with a BA(Hons) Communication Studies from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh in 2005 and now reside a stone’s throw away near South Queensferry.  Last year I made the decision to further my education, upskill and explore other creative industries in line with my interests.  I am currently an HNC Sound Production student at Fife College and am looking to progress to the HND course in the autumn.

After spending 17 years working in radio and latterly 5 years in podcasting, I am actively seeking out fresh opportunities that will allow me to repurpose and develop my existing professional skills in an adjacent audio related industry.  I am confident I could bring something to any given audio project; as an individual I am personable, have a strong work ethic and an overall positive and friendly manner.

My previous roles demanded that I operated with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism and I thrive in fast paced environments.  As you can see from my employment history, I am well-accustomed to live broadcasting, editing and producing and spent many years in management.  Due to the part-time nature of many of my earlier radio jobs, I am not only used to juggling various roles at once, but I enjoy it and it has come to suit me as an individual.  I am interested in finding employment in various audio sectors for this reason and have the availability to do so.  I’m not afraid of hard work and I love learning new ways to broaden my knowledge and my satisfy my curiosity.
